We have an important announcement.  Brad Gillies will be stepping away as Club Director.  Brad will remain involved in multiple organizations in Rochester including Sweetlax, Roots Box Lacrosse/Jr. Knighthawks, and continue his professional playing career with the Rochester Knighthawks,  We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Brad Gillies for his years of dedicated service to the club. Brad’s contributions have been invaluable, and we are grateful for his leadership and commitment. We wish Brad the best of luck as he continues on his lacrosse journey. We will continue to support Brad’s Roots Box Lacrosse program and root him on at Knighthawk’s games.  Thank you Brad for the years of support and service to the Grizzly lacrosse family.
We are  excited to introduce our new Grizzly Lacrosse Club Director, Nick Ballou. For the past 2 seasons, Nick has been serving the club as Youth Coordinator and Coach.  Nick brings a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to our community, and we are thrilled to have him lead our club into a new era of growth and success.

With over 20 years in the lacrosse world, Nick’s journey is marked by exceptional achievements both on and off the field. As a former collegiate lacrosse player and seasoned coach, he has a profound understanding of the game and a proven track record of developing talent at all levels. Nick’s strategic vision and leadership have been instrumental in transforming programs and fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Nick is not just a leader, but a mentor who believes in the holistic development of athletes. His commitment to the personal growth and well-being of players is evident in his innovative coaching methods and emphasis on character building. He has a remarkable ability to connect with players, parents, and the community, creating a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.

In his new role as Club Director, Nick will oversee all aspects of the Grizzly Lacrosse Club, from coaching and player development to community outreach and organizational management. His goals include enhancing our training programs, expanding our reach, and ensuring that every player has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

We are confident that under Nick’s leadership, the Grizzly Lacrosse Club will continue to grow and achieve new heights. Please join us in welcoming Nick Ballou to his new role in our Grizzly family.
