Coach Chris Stock, residing in Penfield, NY with his family, serves as a high school math teacher at Victor Senior High School and brings extensive experience to his role as coach of our 2031 Grizzly lacrosse team. His lacrosse journey began in middle school, captivated by the game's pace and physicality, and continued through his tenure as a midfielder at Penfield High School and later at Clarkson University and SUNY Geneseo.

Chris's coaching career started in 2006 with the development of the Bloomfield/Honeoye lacrosse program, leading them to a sectional semi-final. His experience also includes roles in JV lacrosse at Penfield and as a varsity assistant coach in soccer, highlighting his broad coaching capabilities.

His coaching philosophy emphasizes fun, hard work, and effective communication, setting clear expectations and goals to foster a positive playing environment. Chris is known for his ability to inspire players to exceed their perceived limits, fostering an atmosphere of respect and sportsmanship.

Chris focuses on player development through fundamentals, repetition, and constructive feedback, building team spirit through competitive practice events and team bonding activities. He remains current with lacrosse strategies by attending seminars like the Upstate Lacrosse Clinic.
