TEAM 2028 & 2031 COACH

Coach Justin Wahl's lacrosse career began in 1991 in Penn Yan, NY, under coaches Harry Queener and Brian Hobart. Starting as a ball boy and culminating as a team captain, Justin led his high school team to three Section V championships, received multiple first-team Finger Lakes League All-Star selections, and was named the 1999 Section V Class B MVP. His prowess on the field continued at Monroe Community College (MCC) where he was a two-year starter, team captain, and named MCC's Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year in 2001.

At Nazareth College, Justin was a team captain, participated in the North South All Star Game, and was named Nazareth Lacrosse MVP in 2004, also earning three All-American honors. His professional lacrosse journey included drafts to the Rochester Rattlers and Rochester Knighthawks.

Transitioning seamlessly into coaching, Justin applied his extensive playing experience and passion for the game to coaching roles at Eastridge High School, and the Palmyra Macedon Youth Program, earning the Monroe County Division 2 Assistant Coach of the Year in 2007. His coaching philosophy emphasizes hard work, discipline, and enjoyment of the game, influenced by his mentors, Harry Queener and Brian Hobart.

As a coach for our Team 2028, Justin Wahl brings a wealth of experience, focusing on fundamental skills, player development, and instilling a deep respect for the discipline and teamwork required in lacrosse. His commitment extends beyond the field, aiming to enrich players' lives through the sport.
